Thanksgiving Table 2014

Though the holiday has just passed, I thought I'd share our very simple Thanksgiving table setting this year.

We had just three of us for our dinner this year, so the table was simple and easy, using dishes and linens that we've owned for years and years.

The dishes were my grandmothers, and though they're not particularly valuable, they're pretty special to me.   The wine glasses came from Pier 1 a few years ago, and the water goblet is from Target.

The flowers are a silk arrangement that we've used during the fall season in our home for a very long time... maybe 10 years?   They've held up well, and I still love them.

We left the table pretty simple so we'd have room to place the food.  Because even though we had only three people, we still had food for many more!

From my family to yours, we wish you a very happy Thanksgiving.

  1. We had a simple Thanksgiving Day also. We had more than enough food. It order to keep it even more simple, we served ourselves from the stove. We had less dishes to clean up that way.

I am glad that you had a great day with your husband and daughter. It is a very nice picture of them.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, glad to hear you enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving too. The photo you reference is my husband and me... though I'm tickled to think you might have thought it was my daughter. :-) Have a great week!
