On Jan 1, 2014 I began my "Gratitude Project 2014". I am endeavoring to take at least one photo each day during 2014 which represents gratitude in my life - something large or small, something obvious or more cryptic, but something that says "Thank You" to my creator for the blessings in my life. My intention is to blog my photos here on a daily basis, but if life gets in my way I hope you'll forgive me.
More importantly, I hope you'll join me in making 2014 a year of gratitude. While I'd love to have partners for the photo-a-day thing, I know that's not everyone's deal. But I do hope you'll take a moment each day to say "Thank You" for the blessings in your life. Maybe you'll blog about it, maybe you'll write in a gratitude journal, or maybe you'll just whisper a quiet word of thanks during a quiet moment in the chaos of your day. Because there's so much to be thankful for, every day, no matter what's happening.
If you think you might participate via your blog, please leave a comment so that I can follow along.
Happy New Year, everyone!
UPDATE: As of Dec 31, 2014, I completed my Gratitude Project 2014 feeling much happier, more content, and in general, much more satisfied with my life than I have ever felt before. This project was a life-changer for me, in terms of my overall feelings about myself, my family, my friends, my many blessings. I'm so grateful that I gave this gift to myself!
