This time of year I just revel in the feelings of home and family.
My favorite thing is to snuggle on the couch in front of the fire, with the glow of the Christmas lights on the tree, and my loved ones nearby.
When my loved ones are not nearby, because they're in another town somewhere away from here, I'll admit it is harder for me to feel the happy glow of contentment. I just miss them so much.
But I do take comfort knowing they're happy where they are, and I'm happy where I am, and we're together in our hearts.

Your Christmas decorations look lovely. The red and white ribbon on the tree really makes it pop! So pretty!
