I'm excited to get started on some projects around the house now that the holiday season is over and (mostly) cleaned up and packed away. The blogs that I visit have inspired so many ideas, and then there's Pinterest that always seems to lead me down a path of "I could do that!". Here are some of the projects, both large and small, that I'd like to tackle in the coming months:
Sew pillow covers out of old sweaters
Frame sheet music for our piano room wall
Do a trash-to-treasure with some old photo frames and some inexpensive printed burlap images
Slip cover two chairs in my living room
Paint a thrift-store end table
Paint my daughter's bedroom furniture
Make a headboard for my daughter's bed
Make some sort of art for my daughter's bedroom walls
Make (buy?) curtain panels for the living room
Paint the living room walls (and the connecting foyer, stairwell, and upstairs hall)
Make faux mercury glass vases for the mantel
Make decorative wall art for a couple empty spots around the house
Find a coffee table to paint as a trash-to-treasure
Wow... I didn't realize my list had gotten so long! Maybe I'll give myself more than just "the coming months" to get these projects done!
How about you? What projects do you have lined up for the next little while? I'd love to hear about them - please leave a comment to share your fun plans!
My head is spinning thinking of all your projects! It's very brave of you to be able to write them all. I'm afraid if I do so myself, I'll just go back to bed until 2015!
ReplyDeleteI know, Magali, mine too! And I thought of a few more that I forgot about in my list above. Well, one day and one step at a time. Should be fun! I look forward to what you've got going on this year.
