I'm enjoying a wonderfully peaceful morning here on my back porch. The weather is cool, the neighborhood is quiet, and the birds are very active.
My favorite sounds: the cooing of doves, the sweet songs of cardinals, finches, chickadees and wrens, and unmistakeable hum of the wings of the hummingbirds on the feeders.
Add a cup of coffee, my laptop and a comfortable chair, and I've got everything I need for a wonderful start to this beautiful day.

ReplyDeleteThanks! (giggle) I love watching these little guys, so today I set up my tripod and opened the screen door to get unobstructed views. Setting the camera on burst setting, and being patient, yielded about 100 shots of nothing and about 2 shots of cute hummers. ;-)
