This weekend was a quartet rehearsal weekend - meaning my girls came down to Raleigh on Friday night through Sunday midday, and we sang, sang and sang some more!
This time, we had a FaceTime coaching session on Saturday, and another one on Sunday, in preparation for our International competition in November. Our coaches are world-renown in the world of Sweet Adelines, and they're bringing us all kinds of excellent instruction and really upping our game for this year's contest.
Last year, we finished 5th in the world. This year we hope to move up in score, resulting in a move up in placement as well. We're working really hard in preparation, and this weakend was no exception.
We had a great time, and things are really coming together. I'm very grateful. :-)
