The Not-Quite-Finished Holiday Tablescape

Despite my best intentions, I am not really finished with my Christmas decorating.  In fact, I'm not even finished with my fall un-decorating yet.  So my beautifully imagined but not yet executed Christmas dining room tablescape is still just a figment of my imagination, and my reality is quite a bit more chaotic and messy.

Thanks for humoring me and my tongue-in-cheek Tablescape Thursday.  This is just the truth of my household at this moment.  Life happens!

  2. I can so relate! LOL. My house felt like this the entire week I was trying to get Autumn down and Christmas up. It's a lot of work!

  3. Lol, that is what my house looks like in between seasons too. Well, to be honest mine is strung all over the floor, tables, and anything with a surface, hehe. Merry Christmas!

  5. That is how I feel.... If you look closely at my tablescape, you might notice that all the shots are in one direction... and on one you see stuff on the credenza.. and I tried not to show anything... It will get better.. usually we aren't putting stuff away and getting more stuff out.. Happy Holidays.

  6. It's well on its way to gorgeous! It IS hard to get all the autumn stuff put away and then so rapidly replace it with all the holiday decor! That is SO much work!!! The older I get, the harder it is to to that quick turnaround. I hope you don't feel pressured, though. Just take your time, do your thing, and we look forward to seeing the finished product!
